Interactive Map: Help
The main features of this Web based interactive mapping program are described below.
Layers
The different data layers such as site types (i.e., Brownfield Projects, NPL Sites etc.) or features (Roads, Lakes, etc.)are shown on the map view when the "visible" box is checked and the Refresh Map button is hit. When "Active" feature is selected the symbols on that layer can be selected using the "Identify" tool and information on the site or feature will be displayed. Only one active layer can be selected at a time. Always hit the "Refresh Map" button when any changes of layers are made.
Legend
Defines the icons used to represent various features (Interstates, Railroads, Lakes, Parks, etc.).

This is the main map view of the the area of interest. The initial view is of the whole state. From this point you may use the tools to zoom in and out, identify facilities and features layers and use other tool bar functions.
Overview
When zoomed in on a small area of the map, this will show the area of the state being viewed.
Results
