Copy Costs

Regular copy charges apply to standard paper sizes used by our copiers. Copies made by the customer are 5¢ per single-sided copy. A customer may choose to have copies made by a DERR employee at a cost of 25¢ per single-sided copy, with the first ten copies free.

Special sizes or types of records can be copied. The costs of these special orders will include staff time, as well as charges incurred by the DERR.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. The DERR cannot bill customers for copies made. For out-of-state customers, payment must be made before copies can be mailed. Out-of-state customers may be required to pay for prior orders, before a new copy request will be processed. If the copy fees are expected to exceed $50.00, the requester may be required to pay a deposit on estimated fees before processing will begin. Customers may either pay by check or cash. If paying by cash, exact amount will be required. The DERR does not have the resources to make change. Please make all checks payable to DERR.

General Information

Please take extreme care while viewing or copying documents. The DERR's files are public record and State property. They are not allowed to leave the office. Video monitoring is used to maintain file integrity. Requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis. Larger files and file requests may take more time to prepare.
